Tonto Natural Bridge State Park

Tonto Natural Bridge State Park is home of the largest natural travertine bridge in the world, measuring at 183 feet high over a 400-foot tunnel. The park is located in Payson and was discovered in 1877. It was dedicated as an Arizona State Park in 1991. Hiking to the top of the bridge and then to the bottom affords the best view of this incredible Bridge.

World’s Oldest Continuous Rodeo

The World’s Oldest Continuous Rodeo, began in 1884 in Payson and celebrates 127 years of annual Rodeos, this August. Sometimes referred to as the August Doins, the rodeo is a sanctioned PRCA rodeo event and considered to be the "Best Small Rodeo" in America. Little kids love competing in the Mutton Bustin and adults love watching them. It's one of the most entertaining events at the Doins.
