Bonelli House

The historic home was constructed with fireproof plaster in 1915 to replace the original Bonelli home which burned to the ground. The museum showcases the lifestyle of this prominent family in turn of the century Arizona. Inside are Bonelli family originals and period pieces including a large wall clock that was in its day, the only clock in Kingman. Call 928-753-3195 for more information.
Kingman Army Airfield Museum
During WWII, thirty-six thousand gunners trained at the Kingman Army Airfield. When the war ended in 1945, there was no further need for a gunnery school, or for the airplanes that carried the guns. Thus in 1946 the base was turned into a storage depot and thousands of planes were melted down into seventy million pounds of aluminum ingots. Kingman was one of five sites chosen for the task. Relatively few of the airplanes escaped destruction, and some are still flying today. Others rest in the museum to be viewed and remembered. Call 928-757-1892 for more information.
