Christopher Creek, at an elevation of 5,900 feet, is just 22 miles east of Payson and is nestled below the majestic Molollon Rim on the banks of spring fed Christopher Creek. Within minutes you can be knee deep in beautiful creeks or fishing on one of 9 area Lakes. There's never a dull moment when you are Hiking, Mountain Biking, or Horseback Riding on over 51 miles of area trails.
Pine-Strawberry Museum
Tucked just beneath Arizona's Backbone, the famed Mogollon Rim, the Pine-Strawberry Museum in Pine, Arizona, was opened in 1979 for the purpose of displaying artifacts relative to the prehistory and history of Pine and its twin among the pines, Strawberry. Rim Country Museum
The Rim Country Museum is quaintly set in the award winning Green Valley Park in Payson, Arizona. The Museum is comprised of several historical buildings and objects of local significance. Tonto Natural Bridge
Tonto Natural Bridge is an impressive stone formation located just north of Payson, Arizona. The entrance to the park is about 10 miles north of Payson along highway 87. There are two paths down. The bridge itself is an amazing site with a stream passing underneath and waterfalls pouring from above. The park also features other hiking trails, picnic areas, and a gift shop.
